Two of the more famous towers in Monument Valley. Director John Ford came here in 1938 and filmed the movie Stagecoach released in 1939 starring John Wayne. John Ford liked liked the area so much he returned and made 9 more movies. It was highway 163 in Monument Valley where Forrest Gump stopped running.
